Summer Holidays and Central Reunion

Summer holidays seem to be taking me away from my sewing machine!!  Right now we’re involved in the Central Collegiate 100th year reunion in Moose Jaw.  It’s been great to reconnect with former colleagues and students. I taught Home Ec at Central from 1972-77.

For local quilters – take the time to go to the Cultural Center and see Anna Hergerts  fabric art display in the art gallery – it’s awesome. It’s also inspiring – can’t wait to get back to working with fabric again!!

The outdoor quilt show in the park is the next “quilting event” in Moose Jaw – it will be held in Crescent Park on July 25.  I am actually finishing up the bindings on a few quilts, so that they can hang in the show.

Off to Winnipeg next week – followed by a quick trip to Alberta.  I know – lots of driving – I don’t mind. I’ll see lots of great people and places during my adventures too!
